From the start till now… จากเริ่มต้นจนถึงตอนนี้...

I wrote this poem like 2 years ago. It was dedicated to my best friend, Jee.

ฉันเขียนบทกลอนนี้เมื่อสองปีที่แล้ว ฉันเขียนให้ จี เพื่อนสนิทของฉัน
Do you remember the day we first met?

เธอจำวันแรกที่เราเจอกันได้ไหม
I didn’t like you and you didn’t like me.

เธอไม่ชอบฉันแล้วฉันก็ไม่ได้ชอบเธอ
But some how...We became best friend.

แต่เพราะเหตุใดไม่รู้ที่จู่ๆ... เราก็กลายเป็นเพื่อนสนิทต่อกัน
It was you… you that looked at me for who I am.

เป็นเธอ... เธอที่มองฉันที่เป็นตัวฉัน
People laugh and they think it is funny because we are so different from each other.

ผู้คนมากมายหัวเราะและคิดว่ามันเป็นเรื่องตลก เพราะเราแตกต่างกันมากเหลือเกิน
My favorite color is light gray and yours is black.

สีที่ฉันชอบที่สุดคือสีเท่าอ่อนและสีที่เธอชอบที่สุดคือสีดำ
I am a girly girl. I have many dresses and I carry many purses.

ฉันน่ะ มีความเป็นผู้หญิงสูง ฉันมีชุดกระโปรงหลายชุดและมีกระเป๋าถือหลายใบ
You like to wear pants and you own only 2 skirts, and it is the skirt for the school uniform.

เธอชอบใส่กางเกงและเธอก็มีกระโปรงแค่สองตัว ซึ่งก็คือกระโปรงนักเรียนของเธอ
I like make up and fashion.

ฉันชอบการแต่งหน้าและการแต่งตัว

But you don't even know how to apply lipstick.

แต่เธอไม่รู้แม้แต่วิธีทาลิปสติก

You are good at drawing pictures.

เธอเก่งด้านการวาดรูป

While I don't think I have any art in myself.

โดยที่ฉันไม่คิดว่าฉันมีศิลปะในตัว
But you always take care of me and make me happy.

แต่เธอก็แค่ดูแลฉันและทำให้ฉันมีความสุข

I called you every morning to ask what is the class schedule and you called me every night to remind me to do my homework.

ฉันโทรหาเธอทุกเช้าเพื่อถามว่าตารางเรียนวันนี้มีอะไรบ้าง และเธอก็จะโทรหาฉันตอนกลางคืนเพื่อเตือนว่าทำการบ้านด้วยนะ
We walk together, eat together and we shared everything with one other.

เราเดินด้วยกัน กินด้วยกัน และแบ่งปันทุกๆ อย่างแก่กันและกัน
I felt very thankful to have a best friend like this.

ฉันขอบคุณมากที่มีเพื่อนสนิทอย่างนี้
Someone that even though I didn’t say anything, she understands.

คนที่เราไม่ต้องพูดอะไร เขาก็เข้าใจ
It is a gift from God that no jewel in this whole world can buy.

เป็นของขวัญจากพระเจ้าที่ไม่มีอัญมณีในโลกที่สามารถซื้อได้

But all the happiness will have to pause.

แต่ความสุขทั้งหมดต้องหยุดลง
I had to study in another part of the world and it will be a long time before I go back to Thailand.

ฉันต้อไงไปเรียนที่อีกฟากหนึ่งของโลก และก็คงเป็นระยะเวลานานกว่าจะได้กลับมาเมืองไทย
I’m so sorry that I didn’t even say goodbye to you.

ฉันขอโทษที่ไม่ได้บอกลาเธอ
My heart felt like its going to crush when I saw your e-mails asking me where I am.

ตอนที่เห็นอีเมลที่เธอส่งมาถามว่าฉันอยู่ไหน ทำให้ฉันรู้สึกหัวใจจะแหลกสลาย
I couldn’t answer.

ฉันไม่สามารถตอบไปได้
I didn’t want you to worry and I was afraid that if I went to say goodbye, I wouldn’t want to
leave.

ฉันไม่อยากให้เธอกังวน และฉันกลัวว่าหากฉันไปบอกลา ฉันคงไม่อยากจากไป
I remember all those memorize, when you were standing beside me.

ฉันจดจำทุกๆ อย่างตอนที่มีเธออยู่เคียงข้างฉัน

We ate ice cream at that one table, cried together at that corner and the smile that always encourage me to do my best.

เรากินไอศครีมที่โต๊ะนั้น ร้องไห้ที่มุมนั้น และรอยยิ้มที่คอยเป็นกำลังใจให้ฉันพยายามให้ถึงที่สุด
I thought that you would never forgive me and you might have some new friend.

ฉันคิดว่าเธอคงไม่ให้อภัย แล้วก็คงมีเพื่อนใหม่
About 2 months ago, I called you.

สองเดือนที่แล้ว ฉันได้โทรหาเธอ
We talk and this made me cried from the joyfulness that fulfilled my heart when you said “my best friend, I will always wait for you and I’ll always be there for you when you need a shoulder to cry on”.

เราคุยกัน แล้วมันทำให้ฉันร้องไห้ด้วยความปิติที่เต็มเปี่ยมไปทั้งใจ เมื่อเธอพูดว่า "เพื่อนสนิทของฉัน ฉันจะอยู่เคียงข้างแล้วฉันจะเป็นบ่าให้เธอในวันที่เธออยากร้องไห้"

Trip to Bangkok

I got a chance to visit Bangkok with my mum. It was around 6 hours on the bus from my hometown to the big city. This was the second time I came here and I had an awesome mother-daughter time with my mum.

Bangkok is the capital and the biggest city in Thailand. There is over 10 million people living there.

This is mee keew with duck meat. It tasted so good.

This is the best toast shop in China town. They have three selections for us to pick.

1.) toast with either butter and sugar, fruit jam or chocolate

2.) thick crispy french toast
3.) crispy bun almost like dinner roll stuffed with same topic as the 1st one.

My mum really like the 3rd selection at that store so we had to wait for almost 20 minutes for some warm sweet toasts.

There was a mirror thing there so we took some pictures.

This is an old style bike. My mum likes the flowers on it so we stopped by and made a pose.

When I was little, my mum would ride a bike like this to the market to get fruits and veggies.

This is Roselle drink. It has lots of vitamin A which is good for eye sights and when ever you drink this, you will feel fresh.

This is tom yum with noodles. I really like the small thin noodles but my mum said I eat too slow.

Had a relaxing day at the weekend market.

Another noodle dish here. This one has fish skin on it. It might sound gross but it tasted very good.

While waiting for the express train which cost only a dollar and 34 cents. It is fast, safe and cheaper the taxi. ^__^

Even though it was hot but I still had fun walking around the city with my mum. I know that my mum might be reading this so...

Mummy, thank you for everything. I love you.

Moo Krata

This is the bridge to the restaurant. It is made out of wood and there's a small stream underneath.

This is my small bowl. The white egg there is call "kai nok kra tra" which is quail's egg.

I knew P'Fhrang for almost 6 years now. She go on the same school bus back when I was in middle school. She's been like my big sister.

I kindda forgot to take all the pics so this is the best picture I have of Moo krata. It looks weird because it's not cooked yet when I took this. Moo krata is very popular in Thailand. People used to eat this in special events. This time I went to eat with P'Fhrang (P' means big sister) because we haven't seen each other for so long. She miss me so much. ^__^

This picture is so white cuz of the flash.

So there will be a big pan bowl like an island surrounded by soup. First we will put the bacon (which is fat) on the pan, so it would work as oil for cooking. Then we will have fresh stuff such as pork, shrimps eggs, veggies, ham and more. It is really fun.

Spaghetti (Thai style)

My mum made this spaghetti. It is like regular spaghetti except we don't put tomato sauce and we add Thai veggies.
