Valentine's day is just around the corner and I just had an idea for these nails design. It's so boring when all I see around towns is pink and red. Ugh, so today, I came up with these fabulous nails. There's green, mint green, blue and yellow with - yet "traditional" - pink. And on the ring finger (since that's the finger that links to your heart, or so I've been told) I drew a heart with some glitter. Wanna know how I do it? Well, continue reading!
What you will need:
A clear nail polish
Some colorful nail polish (I used blue, mint green, yellow, light green and pink)
Glittery nail polish
Bobby pins
A piece of paper
Okay, sorry guys that I forgot to take some pictures during the process but I'll try to describe how to do it as much as I can :)
So first you want to start with clear nail polish as your base coat to protect your nails. While you wait for it to dry, take your colorful nail polish and make a dot on a paper. You don't have to make a big dot because the nail polish can dry pretty fast and it might get sticky if you let it dry for too long. Then take a bobby pin and use round circle side (the end of it when you would put it in your hair) and dip into the little dot of nail polish. Make sure you put your hand on a place where it is steady like a table. Then make little hearts. How I made the heart is to make two circles (for the curvy part of the heart) and a little triangle then connect them together. I like my ring finger to be a statement in this nail design so I made the heart a little bit bigger and added some glittery nail polish on top. Once you're happy with your hearts, make tiny polka dots around it. Let it dry for at least half an hour and end with the clear nail polish to have long lasting little hearts and shinny nails :)
