If you ask me "is it easy to hand over your life's planner to God?", my answer would be no. I, myself, has had difficulty handing my life's planner to God because sometimes, I think that I know the best and not God. Recently, one of my friend had that problem too; she felt that maybe God didn't had the right plan for her. Well, today I want to share some of my stories...
Before I came to America, I was scared, no, terrified. It was like a new world to me. I would have to meet new friends and most of all, I would have to accept the new culture. It was hard for me. There was some moments that I would cried at night; wishing that I was home. But you know what, God did amazing things through that. From no friends to a bunch of friends to the point where I forget some of the names, yeah, it's a lot. And my English got better and now I like cheese. God knows best.
When I went back to Thailand last summer, it was my first time on the plane. I had no idea what to do. All I knew was go to the G4 gate. That was it. But Jen and Josh prayed for me and I decided to trust God. I don't know what I'm gonna face, but I know that God knows. As I walked to the gate G4, I found this girl who looked like she was Thai. I decided to smile at her, and guess what? She smiled back, in a Thai way. She was going to Thailand! So we had lunch and just talked. It was so cool. I had fun and it really helped me the fact that God would take care of me. I am so thankful.
I just want you to know, that God always has your back. Man, He would carry you when you feel weak. Friends, families and other things may fail but God never fails. He is the same today, yesterday and forever. He loves you and cares for you. Also, He is a God of healer. He heals people and He can heal you. I just want you to keep trusting in God because He knows every aspect of your life; He planned it himself.
"Have you not known? Have you not heard? The Lord is the everlasting God, the Creator of the ends of the earth. He does not faint or grow weary; his understanding is unsearchable. He gives power to the faint, and to him who has no might he increases strength. Even youth shall faint and be weary and young men shall fall exhausted; but they who wait for the LORD shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings like eagles; they shall run and not be weary; they shall walk and not faint."
Isaiah 40:28-31
Much..much..love,
Gemma
Jemimah, no matter how many times I have heard this story, I love it. You have a powerful testimony; it reassures me that everything is going to turn out for the best as I'm about to move halfway across the country where I don't know anybody...
